We want you to love what you receive. If something isn't right, here's how we'll help.


Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If you receive:

  • A damaged or defective item
  • The wrong product
  • Missing items

Contact us immediately with photos. We'll arrange an exchange or send the missing items.


Partial Deliveries

If your order arrives incomplete:

  • Share your order details and missing items with us
  • We'll ship them at no extra cost

Note: We don't accept returns/refunds for incomplete orders. If we're unable to fulfill missing items, we'll refund those specific products.


Returns & Exchanges

We generally don't offer returns or exchanges, except in these cases:

  • Damaged or defective products
  • Wrong item delivered
  • Product significantly different from description

Eligibility:

  • Request within 48 hours of delivery
  • Product must be unused and in original packaging
  • Order number or invoice required

Non-returnable items:

  • Live plants (see below)
  • Opened fertilizers or soil
  • Customized/made-to-order items
  • Used or improperly packaged products

How to Request a Return

Within 48 hours, share:

  • Reason for return
  • Order number / invoice
  • Clear photos of product & packaging

If approved, we'll arrange pickup.

Note: Items sent without approval won't be accepted.


Category-Specific Policies

Live Plants

Every plant is unique—natural variations are expected.

Not eligible for return:

  • Minor visual differences
  • Size, leaf, or branch variations
  • Seasonal changes

Eligible for return:

  • Dead or severely damaged plants
  • Completely incorrect species

Customized Products

Made-to-order items cannot be returned or exchanged.


Delayed Deliveries

Most orders arrive within 5–7 business days.

Delays may happen due to:

  • Weather
  • Festivals
  • External disruptions

Please note:

  • Delays alone aren't grounds for return/exchange
  • Gifting items may be cancelled if significantly delayed
  • We're not responsible for uncontrollable delays

Customer Unavailability

If delivery is missed:

  • One reattempt may be arranged
  • After 2 failed attempts, the order is returned

Further delivery attempts may be chargeable. Please ensure someone is available to receive the order.


Refunds

Refunds are issued only when:

  • Duplicate payment/order
  • Same-day cancellation request
  • Order cannot be fulfilled
  • Exchange cannot be completed
  • Approved return is verified

Timeline: Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after approval (bank timelines may vary).


Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled within 2 hours of placing them
  • After that, orders move to fulfillment and cannot be cancelled

Exception: Gifting items may be cancelled if delivery timelines aren't met.


Third-Party Sellers

For certain products:

  • Leafy Tales acts as a platform
  • Returns/refunds are handled by the seller
  • We don't provide guarantees on their behalf

If a seller becomes unresponsive, we're not liable for their commitments.


Disputes

All decisions made by Leafy Tales regarding disputes are final.

That said, we're always open to resolving concerns fairly—just reach out.
